Valero Expands its Relationship with PinnacleAIS to Provide
Mechanical Integrity Solution for its Corpus Christi Refinery
PinnacleAIS Now Serves Two Major Valero Refineries
May 20, 2008– Houston, TX – PinnacleAIS, a leading provider of services and technology
specializing in improved asset integrity for the petroleum and chemical processing industry, today
announced that it has been chosen by Fortune 500 company Valero Energy Corporation to
provide a best-in-class, integrated mechanical integrity program at its Bill Greehey Refinery in
Corpus Christi, Texas. PinnacleAIS has been providing asset integrity services to Valero’s
McKee refinery since early 2007, and has helped the key hub for Valero’s mid-continent
operations to significantly reduce risks while improving the efficiency of their reliability efforts.

Led by project manager Milea Cosby, PinnacleAIS will work with Valero to implement state-ofthe-
art technologies at its Bill Greehey Refinery further increasing safety and reliability, while
reducing risks and cost. The Corpus Christi-based refinery is considered one of the most
sophisticated and technologically advanced refineries in the world, with an approximate
throughput capacity of 340,000 barrels per day (BPD).
