PinnacleAIS Chosen by Independent Refinery CHS to Provide Risk - Based Inspection Program

June 17, 2008– Houston, TX – PinnacleAIS, a leading provider of services and technology specializing in improved asset integrity for the petroleum and chemical processing industry, announced today that it has been selected by independently operated CHS Laurel Refinery, to reduce risks and lower costs while improving uptime. PinnacleAIS will provide CHS with a comprehensive risk-based inspection (RBI) program for its entire facility.

“PinnacleAIS will enable us to maintain a competitive advantage. As an independent refiner, we are increasingly challenged with trying to implement programs to ensure operational effectiveness without the big budgets and large central groups of experts maintained by the major refineries,” said Scott Ostland, Chief Inspector for CHS. “By partnering with PinnacleAIS, we now can efficiently and affordably implement a best-in-class mechanical integrity system.”

“PinnacleAIS has a solid track record in serving the needs of major, integrated oil and gas companies, and we are extremely honored and excited to extend our proven solutions to innovative independent refineries such as CHS,” said Ryan Sitton, Founder and CEO of PinnacleAIS. “While CHS has long had a well organized inspection program, it will now work with PinnacleAIS and our project lead, Kyle Garey, to take a more strategic approach leveraging the latest technologies and industry leading services.”

As part of the program, PinnacleAIS will utilize Tischuk's TOCA software (www.tischuk.com) for RBI, and UltraPIPE (www.ultrapipe.com) for the implementation. The facility-wide project will take approximately two years.
